On Tuesday, April 26th, at around 8:30 P.M., the Grand Prairie Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Galveston Street where officers located a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. This case remains under investigation.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiners Office once the next of kin has been notified.
