The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the 1500 block of E IH-30.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., a Cadillac passenger car was traveling eastbound in the main lanes of IH-30 when it struck a Dodge truck that was disabled in the lanes of traffic. The driver of the Dodge truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac sustained minor injuries.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.
No charges are expected to be filed. This crash remains under investigation.
