Families in Grand Prairie will soon have a new place to enjoy some indoor fun, as Andretti Indoor Karting is set to open its doors later this year. The 96,000-square-foot facility will feature an indoor climate-controlled kart track, arcade, virtual reality games, laser tag, and duckpin bowling. Plans are to open by end of 2023. This will be the company’s second location in DFW and seventh nationwide.
Andretti Indoor Karting is the latest venture from racing legend Mario Andretti. The facility will feature two levels of go-kart tracks and will also have a full-service restaurant and bar on site.
The go-karts at Andretti Indoor Karting will be electric, meaning they’ll be much quieter than traditional gas-powered karts. They’ll also be able to reach speeds of up to 35 miles per hour for adults. The tracks themselves will be designed to mimic real-world Formula One courses, providing an immersive and exciting experience for racers of all ages.
Andretti Indoor Karting and Games was established in 2001 and is based in Orlando, Florida. The company currently has six state-of-the-art entertainment and event destinations located in Florida, Georgia, and Texas. Andretti Indoor Karting and Games has undergone exponential expansion over the last six years and will be debuting several more of their legendary entertainment centers across the United States soon.
