Trash Off

Grand Prairie Landfill, 1102 MacArthur Blvd.

Clean your house and get rid of your junk during Trash Off.

Residents are allowed an unlimited number of trips to the landfill.

Trash Off is a great way to dispose of all those bulky items that won’t fit in the garbage.

Proof of residence in the form of a current water bill or driver’s license is required.

 

Tire Amnesty Week at The Landfill

Monday, Oct. 7 thru Saturday, Oct. 12   from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  Grand Prairie Landfill, 1102 MacArthur

Grand Prairie residents and small businesses are invited to bring tires to the landfill for free. There is a limit of 10 tires per household/business. You must present a utility bill from the location the tires are coming from and a valid driver’s license. For more information, visit 972-237-4562. Free Open Play Pickleball at Chicken N Pickle

Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Open play time slots must be reserved in advance.  To reserve a time slot, visit Tony Shotwell Life Center or call 972-237-8109 between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Reservations can be made up to two business days in advance. Reservations are for one hour minimum, two hours maximum.

Touch a Truck

Come out for this free child-friendly opportunity to touch and climb into large trucks, police vehicles, fire trucks and construction vehicles.
