Grand Prairie EpicCentral’s newest addition, The Finch Grill & Raw Bar, should win fans for its friendly staff and terrific food. The menu features some really nice offerings.

We arrived for lunch and were greeted and promptly seated by Isabell the host.  Our wait staff for the day was Pon, Kendall. Aman also made sure we were well taken care of. such a very sweet and attentive staff, they were very helpful in suggesting items on the menu.

For starters, I had Littleneck Clams, the sauce was a white wine garlic lemon butter herb focaccia served with grilled toasted bread. Dipping the bread in the sauce is a must, it was great!

From the raw bar, I had the Market Crudo, which came with Salmon, Tuna, and Scallops. The Oysters are flown in fresh daily, so I had to give them a try. I had the White Stone oysters from Chesapeake Bay, VA. Very good!

My brother had the Firecracker Meatballs, it is roasted parmesan chicken served with a Texas honey hot sauce, burrata, and scallions. It looked delicious. He loved them.

For the main dish, He had the Roasted Herb Chicken with Grilled broccolini and citrus herb jus. He said the chicken was cooked perfectly, very juicy, with awesome flavor. It came with garlic mashed potatoes and Poblano Mac & Cheese.

For my main dish, I had a very flavorful Steak Frites, a black Angus NY strip, with I ‘entrecôte sauce. I absolutely loved the dish, the sauce was so good, and the steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. The fries with the special seasoning were very good also.

For drinks, my brother had the Rosé Sangria and said it was the best he has ever had. I had the Finch Espresso Martini. I must say I’ll be back for another one sometime soon!

Dessert was up next, and it didn’t disappoint either, brother Will had the Flourless Chocolate Torte, with cream anglaise, and raspberry port wine reduction. I love bread pudding, so I went with the Butterscotch Pecan Bread Pudding, with hot bourbon caramel, toffee pecans, berries, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I have never tasted a better bread pudding.

A few days after our first visit, I stopped back in for a quick lunch and to try their burger. I had the Atticus’ Burger and fries, it was very good, butter toasted spice brioche, wagyu beef patty, tomato, pickles, lettuce caramelized onions, and a special sauce. I also had the Brown Sugar Old Fashioned drink.

I cannot think of one thing that I don’t like about this place!

This is one of the finest restaurants in Grand Prairie. You should give it a try before you drive into Dallas or Fort Worth. If you like great food, don’t just take our word for it, go give it a try for yourself, we think you’ll like The Finch Grill & Raw Bar as much as we did. Happy Hour is M-F from 3-6. Great location in the EpicCentral entertainment district just off Hwy 161 in Grand Prairie. They also have outdoor seating by the water and a fountain show, at night the lights are awesome!

Special thanks to Jerome, and his staff for a great lunch and an overall good time!
