Friday night the PBR teams came to Ft. Worth’s Dickies arena for 3 days of action packed bull riding.

These 8 PBR teams went head to head in a Bull riding tournament over 3 days. Ft. Worth’s own Ariat Texas Rattlers hosted this event. The other teams are, The Austin Gamblers, Nashville Stampede, Kansas City Outlaws, Missouri Thunder, Arizona Ridge Riders, Carolina Cowboys, and the Oklahoma Freedom. There are 10 events scheduled, 8 of which being in each team’s hometown and 2 being at Neutral sites. The first one was in Cheyenne, Wyoming and the last one will be Las Vegas Nevada.

Each team of 5 members get one ride each day. Points are accumulated after each successful 8 second ride. The scoring is the standard bull riding rules. At the end of the 5th ride whichever team has the most points wins that round. On the 3rd day of the event the top two team go head to head to see who gets to take the victory for the event. This goes on until the last two teams complete, so at the end of the 3 day event every team knows where they rank at the end. This 3 day event was won by the Texas Rattlers.
The general manager Mark George was all over the place handing out all kinds of freebies to kids and parents alike from a free bobblehead, of the Rattler’s own Cody Jesus, to Pendleton whisky handing out hats, patches and bandanas. All of the Riders were easy to approach and very gracious with their time. These teams are made up from vets of the circuit to the new up and coming stars like the 2022 rookie of the year Bob Mitchell of the Kansas City Outlaws.
This is Bull riding at its finest and a good time to be had by all and is a real family friendly event.
