15 year old girl killed in Grand Prairie crash

The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred Sunday night in the 700 block of South Great Southwest Parkway.

At approximately 8:13 P.M., the driver of a Ford passenger car was traveling south on S. Great Southwest Parkway when the vehicle lost control and collided with a tree. The driver, a 21-year-old male, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The passenger, a 15-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin has been notified.

This crash remains under investigation.
